Active Motif has a collection of small-molecule epigenetic modulators (activators and inhibitors) that target changes to DNA methylation and chromatin remodeling proteins, such as histones. These include targets to DNA Methyltransferases (DNMTs), Histone Acetyltransferases (HATs), Histone Deacetylases (HDACs), Histone Methyltransferases (HMTs), Histone Demethylases (HDMs) and a distinct set of chromatin readers, bromodomains. As epigenetic dysregulation is implicated in many diseases, these modulators represent important tools for researchers in their assay development and drug discovery initiatives.
